- The courses in the concentration can be drawn from historical, literary studies; from theory; or from media and/or cultural studies.
- For a track in Anglo-American Romanticism, add AML 6017 to the required courses, AML 6027 to the related courses, and for the PhD, add courses in theory, media, and cultural studies.
- The MA Thesis in this track should be the length and quality of a publishable article (the intent is for the piece to be published).
