Notes
- For students entering the MA program, one of the cultural studies or theory courses should be in the first semester.
- Foreign language skills are important in this track. Students are to develop those skills as early in the program as possible.
- The MA Thesis in this track should be the length and quality of a publishable article (the intent is for the piece to be published).
- Two of the courses must be in media other than literature.
