Where the Prospective Horizon is Omitted:
Naturalism and Dystopia in Fight Club and Ghost Dog

The paper deals with the legacy of the dystopian narrative form in terms 
of two recent popular films, and has the extra bonus of exploring the 
very relevant image of falling towers in cultural studies and populist 
discourses (coming down from towers being a central fantasy of the Fight
Club, the film, Meet John Doe, which inspies Palahniuk's novel, and 
Michel de Certeau's celebrated essay "Walking in the City.")
