SANE journal: sequential art narrative in education (ISSN 2153-2613) seeks research, essays, articles, reviews and rationales for teaching comics, comix, graphica, graphia, sequential art narrative – whatever you want to call images in sequence used to tell a story! If you use comics in your classroom, k-graduate school, or research the intersections of comics and literacy, we want to help you publish your work.

SANE journal’s PEER REVIEW GUARANTEE:

  • Your article will be read by those with specific expertise and interest in the fields of comics scholarship and the intersections of comics and literacy!
  • If accepted, your article will appear in a journal with an international Editorial Board comprised of scholars who have and are currently publishing on the topics of comics and literacy!
  • You will be shown reviewers’ (anonymous) comments to help you craft revisions of your essay!
  • You will get feedback on your essay in a timely manner!

CALLS FOR PAPERS:
