He is the author of Brecht and Critical Theory: Dialectics and Contemporary Aesthetics, which was published by Routledge in 2005. His essays have appeared in Theatre Journal, Essays in Theatre, the Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Modern Drama and Theatre Survey. A second comics scholarship essay is forthcoming in the Iowa Journal of Cultural Studies.
