What is the Digital Assembly?

The Digital Assembly arose from broadening the scope of The Games Studies Group which aimed to explore theoretical issues surrounding gaming both by common readings of critical texts and close “readings” of shared gaming experiences. Due to the diverse interests of the student body, we have broadened the scope but maintained our interest in theoretical approaches to under-represented media. Our members study all things digital and span a wide variety of fields including digital humanities, electronic literature, game studies, digital rhetoric, digital art, and media theory.
