Writing Assignment – Summary

Directions:
Go to Richardson Library and check out Reserve for our class – International Journal of Comic Art – John A. Lent – Editor – 5 hour reserve – Three volumes – two are bound – most recent is not bound. Call # 741.0

Look through the various titles / authors and choose one for your summary.

Paper:
Write the title and author of the article – as well as bibliographical information.
Write a detailed summary of the content in the essay.
What did you discover? What did you learn? If you chose an essay about comics, graphic literature in another country –What did you learn about the graphic lit. in that culture? Write any reaction or remarks you might have about the essay that you read.

Length: no fewer than two pages -3-4

Format: Same as the Assessment Paper – See S . Martin’s Handbook 5 or ask instructor.
