Writing Assignment – Bluebook #2
Directions: Choose one of the following and write a composition in response to the topic – make references /and/or/ copies of pages in our text in the preparation of your discussion. Like our previous Bluebook – you should attach the pages discussed in your writing with the composition.

1. Find the pages / parts of the narrative in Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth in which “multiculturalism” / “diversity” are an element in the story. Explain and discuss these characters / events / and plot elements in detail – tell what happens? – what is seen? – what emotions are present? – what values are revealed? – what other significant implications are contributed to the story of Jimmy Corrigan’s life?

2. Using the Dangerous Drawings – Chris Ware Interview – Andrea Juno, select and organize a series of Ware’s remarks in the interview – then explain and discuss how these relate, can be witnessed or exhibited in the book – Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth. What does Ware say, in other words, and how is it exemplified in his text.
