About 1

"Monsters in the Margins" seeks to explore the representation of monsters and the monstrous in a visual/textual form. Panelists and guests will look at how text augments the imaginative image (or vice versa) and how horror and the monstrous can help the conscious mind endure and (hopefully) resolve the trauma that the unknown antagonizes within us. From traditional genres to new horizons of horror, we will be investigating and celebrating the 'monsters' of media.
